**CORE TRAITS**\

Each core trait is determined by a specific digit of the block number. Digits are assigned in reverse order, in a 654321 pattern. Every Royal as made up of Core Traits.\

**Headgear**\

The last digit of the block number determines the headgear. Each last digit has a number of traits assigned to it that are triggered when other patterns occur at the same time. Five special crown traits occur at specific block numbers making them likely never to occur again. All headgear options has a color assigned by the third digit (fourth to last digit).\

The last digit also determines the eye color. The only exception for eye color is Aliens who have a lime green eye trait.

**Body**\

The second-to-last digit determines the body. As well as assigning a color, some rarer body types are activated by specific patterns that are tied to both the body color and other patterns that occur within that block number eg. Pepe, Gold, Blueblood and Zombie. Other rare traits occur when blocks have specific conditions like divisibility or palindromes eg Alien, Inverse, Clown, Skelly, Dark Spirit. Two rare types can occur at once creating unique combos eg Dark Spirit Zombie.

**Background** \

The sixth-to-last digit, determines the background. In the case of five-digit Royals, where there is no sixth digit, the default background is set to Orange. Background colors have their own color chart that is different to the other colors for all other traits. They are Alien 1, Cyan 2, Green 3, Yellow 4, Blue 5, Pink 6, Purple 7, Grey 8, Red 9 and Fawn 0.

**SPECIAL TRAITS**

Not all Royals have special traits. Extra traits (called "extras") and Neck traits can occur together, but all other special traits like facial hair and Eyewear have exclusive rules, so that only one is drawn.

**Neck**
The neck traits are designed so that they stack visually. Chokers all share the same placement - ie two cannot occur together. Bowtie has the same rule, as do the chains. A bowtie, chain and choker might all occur together though.
